Branding Your Business with Excellent Free Tools

Updated: Aug 18, 2021

Today we're exploring Beauty Tools for your start-up.

Branding is essential as it allows your customers and clients to know what to expect from your company. It is a way of distinguishing yourself from competitors and clarifying what you offer that makes you the better choice. Your brand is a true representation of you as a business and how you wish to be perceived.

However, we know that branding may not always be the first aspect of your start-up that you invest your money in. To tackle this issue, we introduce you to several FREE beauty tools that your business can use to maintain a consistent brand image across your digital channels.

You want your brand to be recognisable, right? To achieve this, you should identify the brand colours of your start-up. You can use free tools such as ColourHunt and Adobe Colour Wheel to determine the Pantone number for your brand colours, and you can use these exact hues to maintain consistency throughout your channels.

Alongside colours come fonts. If you've seen a font you like, or you are looking to browse a selection of fonts to find one that represents your brand, you can use other free tools like Google Fonts, TypeNugget or Adobe Fonts to find, create and download your go-to fonts for your business.

When creating content for your brand, you can use Pexels and Adobe Stock websites to browse a wide variety of free stock images. You can then use Canva or PixTeller to design brand graphics that can tailor content for any social media channel. Tools like Canva are free but also offer paid ‘Canva Pro’ subscriptions for additional functionality.

Finally, to promote your brand, you may consider promotional videos. Tools like Promo or Moovly offer a free video creation service; you can easily customise promo video templates to match your company's message and unique personality, capturing your audience's attention and drawing them into your business.
